Happy 8th Birthday to us! Proud Marys, Chester's LGBT Choir
The Choir would like to express their true appreciation to Matt Baker for giving us all Music in our lives and a safe LGBTQ+ space to be our true selves and express our love of music to the Chester Community and beyond.

What a lovely surprise everyone had at choir rehearsal on Monday! Steph and Jess were sneaky and away on Holiday the week before and this was the delightful news they brought back! Nez even got them to reanact the proposal so everyone could look shocked hahaha! We wish them all the luck and love especially as they met at Choir!

We had two performances yesterday at St Thomas of Canterbury Church, Chester. Both performances were packed with a fun and festive audience. Here is Matt Baker's version of the 12 Days of Christmas with all 5 Choirs and Audience participation a plenty.

We had a lovely time singing for the Lord Mayor of Chester and her guests last night for the Christmas Concert. A few of our repertoire plus a couple of Christmas songs were performed. Here's part of our version of Carol of the Bells.

For World AIDS Day 2025 we wanted to perform our new song, a very poignant song from the 80's during difficult times for the LGBTQ+ community. We learned our lyrics, put the practice in and came out singing with a fantastic result. Here's just a snippet of how it sounded.
