Proud to perform
We're a friendly and inclusive group of LGBT+ men, women and non-binary people of all ages and backgrounds, some of us with previous singing experience, others with none at all.
But it's what we have in common that brings us together: a love of music, pride in who we are and a passion for celebrating diversity in our beautiful city. We're led by the talented Chester-based musical director Matt Baker.

We'd love to hear from you
Proud Marys is open to LGBT+ people aged 18 and over from Chester and the surrounding areas. We don't ask new members to audition, but you do need to be able to hold a tune and to harmonise. Rehearsals take place in Chester between 8.00pm and 10pm on Monday evenings. You must be able to make the majority of rehearsals during a term in order to perform with us.
